Bedrooms come with twin XL beds* with built-in USB C ports/outlets incorporated into alcove in a slatted privacy screen, underbed soft close storage, motion sensor lighted soft close wardrobe, additional armoire with alcove built in with two USB C ports/outlets with plenty of storage compartments*, two soft close dressers, and a desk with two built-in USB C ports/outlets and chairs!

For Fall 2026, we offer one lease term. Our leases follow an equal installment plan, meaning your total annual rent is divided into equal monthly installments throughout your lease term. This simplifies your payments – no calculations needed, just one consistent base rent amount each month!
Your monthly installment includes high-speed internet, a fully furnished apartment, 24/7 emergency maintenance, and controlled access to the property. You’ll pay for water, and electricity separately.
Yes, your furry friends are welcome at Pique Berkeley! We welcome up to two pets per apartment. To ensure a happy and healthy environment for all, we ask that your pets weigh under 50lbs, be at least one year old, and have up-to-date licenses and vaccinations. A monthly pet rent of $60 per pet will apply.
Move-in day for Fall 2026 is scheduled for August 19th, 2026.
We offer three convenient qualification methods: guarantor, self-qualification, and a prepaid rent addendum. If you’re using a guarantor, the guarantor can apply after the primary applicant has submitted their application and selected “guarantor” as their qualification method. The primary applicant will then provide the guarantor’s email address so they can complete their application.
We make moving in easy! At Pique, we handle the utility setup for you. You can then manage and pay for your utilities conveniently through our resident portal app.
Yes, Pique Berkeley helps you find your perfect roommate match, and we’re partnered with Roomsync to make it easy! RoomSync gives you control over who you share your space with, allowing you to choose the perfect roommate(s) for you.
A semi-private bedroom at Pique is a privately accessed, single-occupancy sleeping space within a larger shared unit, featuring a furniture-delineated perimeter that does not extend to the ceiling. These partitions create maximum visual privacy while allowing natural light and some sound transmission between spaces. This design offers an ideal balance of personal space and affordability.
Yes! From freshmen to seniors, all students are welcome at Pique Berkeley. Each fully-furnished apartment offers a comfortable living space, complete with a sofa, barstools, and balcony furnishings*.

The documents you’ll need depend on your status:
• If you’re an international student, you’ll need Valid Passport, I-20 & Valid F-1 Student Visa
• If you’re not a student, you’ll need a Valid Passport and Valid L-1 Visa that remains active through your entire lease term

Not necessarily! Pique Berkeley offers several qualification options, so a guarantor isn’t always required. If you’d like to qualify with a guarantor, they must: Have a valid U.S. Social Security Number and meet our standard income and credit requirements.
No worries—we’ve got options! You can qualify through one of these alternatives:
Prepaid Payment Agreement (PPA):
Prepay your final two lease installments, allowing you to qualify without a guarantor.
Leap Guarantor Program (Guarantor Waiver Program):
Apply through Leap to waive the guarantor requirement. If approved, a small monthly fee will be added to your rent.
